THINGS TO CONSIDER? 🤔

I get it, you look on Wayfair, Academy Sports, Dicks, Amazon, and every other online manufacturer you can think of. If you have not ordered the Trampoline yet. Here are a few things to think about beforehand.

When shopping online at these major manufacturers they have an endless database of products to choose from.

Trampolines are usually round like a circle or more rectangular in shape. They can come in 8ft, 10ft, 12ft, 15ft, 17ft+ sizes. Trampolines can have netting that encircles the entire unit or without. Some have basketball hoops built inside the netting. Some newer versions have these vertical leaf springs like in a truck bed as the shock absorbers.

Every trampoline unit comes with a small ladder so you can easily enter and exit.

Even though some of these trampolines do get very large in size. They are not extremely heavy in nature. And usually, two strong adults can definitely move the trampoline around in the backyard without much grief.

One of the most important things to consider as far as location for the trampoline is. It is best to keep the trampoline sitting on a flat surface and not on any hills or deep elevations in the ground. They usually supply ground stakes to semi-hold the trampoline in place while being used.

I've seen some people who will pour a level of sand in the backyard and then place a trampoline on it, giving it more like a beach atmosphere. Others will use mulch or any other soft ground material.

I've seen trampolines sitting on a wood deck before too. I probably would not recommend having it sit on a hard concrete surface. Just in case a kid falls out, they could get seriously injured on the concrete.

MY TRAMPOLINE CAME DAMAGED OR HAS MISSING PARTS?

First, relax and breathe…This happens a lot more than you think. Remember your trampoline has gone through so many different phases in its life cycle.

The product starts off as raw materials, then gets manufactured somewhere, then gets packaged and stored at some warehouse/location. Then eventually you order it online or at the store. Finally, it gets put on a delivery vehicle and dropped at your doorstep.

A lot of moving parts are involved with this entire process. Sometimes quality control has bad days, and people make mistakes. I've seen where the product and box are damaged. This could've been during shipping. I've seen where hardware or parts are missing, which means it failed a QC test.

At the end of the day though, if you ordered the Trampoline online from a major company. Most of the time as long as you reach back out to the company quickly. They will send you the replacement or damaged product or pieces for free. And I will always 100% let you know if something is damaged or missing before I start building the trampoline.

And if your product did end up having a damaged or missing part. Plan for at least a couple of weeks or longer for the manufacturer to fulfill the replacement order. Especially nowadays after the pandemic, everything will take longer than usual. Having realistic expectations will go a long way.
